After losing my father wanting to get referral to get grief counseling, I made a 20 minute appointment (which is the standard time for mental health referrals). He took the the 20 min referral and then said I need to come back for an hour consultation! An hour! An hour!!??? The secretary then started telling me in front of other patients about how Mental Health Refferals work. It was embarrassing and no privacy at all. Disgusting. And completely unethical to the highest order. I've spoken to two psychologists - They have NEVER heard in all their careers of an hour consultation for a referral. Dr Michael Battat - This guy thinks he's a psychologist. Do NOT go here.
