  Usual hangout for after work drinks. Outdoor indoor seating. Tends to get crowded.
  Food portions are quite generous. i ordered the fish & chips kids size that came with a side of chips. Chicken pizza and the Parma was good as well as the vegetarian salad (with added chicken).

  Went to see Marcus Ryan for the 2022 comedy festival was a great experience. Awesome crowd work and the right mix of current relevant jokes with some classic Australian humour that is pretty much timeless woven in.

  Amazing decor and ambiance in a very authentic English pub. Good range of beers and both drinks and the food are cheap. Great to come with friends or bigger groups.

  This pub has been on my list for a while.
  
  Very cozy place, and can get packed on the weekends.
  
  We ordered Nachos - Corn chips, spicy bean & capsicum salsa, jalapenos, cheese, sour cream & guacamole; and a Bowl of Chips. Probably the best nachos I've had in Melbourne so far! Served on a hot skillet, and loaded with cheese... just like how I like it!
  
  The only issue we had is that it takes forever to get the food, so keep in mind that you might have to wait for around 35 min. Ordering and taking your order happens at the bar.

  Not the usual friendly welcome we would expect from an Irish Bar. We went upstairs to find a clean table, sat down, then the barman CLOSED that bar by putting up a notice without even talking to us... so we went downstairs. Music was terrible. Like heavy metal, Split Enz etc which didn't quite create the right atmosphere for this type of bar. We know Irish Pubs are known for their generous meals but honestly the meals were ridiculously huge. We both ordered the 'special' of the day.. roast beef. It was like 4 x 'minute steaks' heated in gravy, yorkshire pudding was dry, 6 large roast(?) potato's & a mountain of (only just cooked) vege which were hardly even warm. We had so much food left over it was embarrassing. I asked the barman if they could do a 'doggy bag'. I wanted to give it to a homeless person. "NO, we don't do take aways", he said rudely. We will not return to this bar & I am sure they won't care whether we do or not The 2nd photo of food is our left overs! Such a terrible waste.

  Not really my scene. It's a British-ish pub, but feels a tad grungy. I have had few good pints there though. 3-stars.
